Employability
programs

We all need to find our purpose in life, and we’re all about supporting young people to discover and achieve their full potential.

Here on the Mornington Peninsula, we’re committed to empowering young people to make their contribution through our employability programs and pathways to productive work.

Hospitality readiness

For those keen to get into the food and hospitality sector, our partnership with Home Ground Cafe offers young people the chance to be part of a 14-week hospitality program. Skills covered include barista training, cooking, food safety and customer service, all in a real-world café setting.

Growing retail skills

At our Thrift Op Shop in Progress street, Thrift Retail is helping young locals gain real-world retail experience in a supported environment. This is a low-pressure entry into the workforce, where young people can build confidence, an understanding of retail processes, and develop customer service skills and experience
