village

The Village is designed for young families who need safe housing and support to rebuild their lives.

Fusion Mornington is raising funds for The Village, a critical housing initiative that will provide much more than just a place to live – it will create pathways to independence. At Fusion, we believe in equipping people with the tools and support they need to succeed, empowering them to rebuild their lives through their own hard work and determination.

The young families this will enable us to support are resilient and capable individuals who have faced hardship – often due to circumstances entirely beyond their control. Many have grown up in unstable or unsafe environments and simply need someone to listen, care and offer guidance.

The Village will provide them with a safe, stable community where they can feel a sense of belonging and begin to rebuild their future with confidence.

Our approach includes:

  • Six new standalone therapeutic homes designed to foster security and stability.
  • On-site support & mentorship to guide families toward self-sufficiency.
  • Community engagement initiatives that strengthen social connections and empowerment.

Homelessness affects too many young families in our region. 
Without stable housing and support, children and parents face immense challenges that can have lasting consequences.  We believe that every family deserves a safe place to call home and the opportunity to thrive. By working together, we can break the cycle of homelessness and build a stronger, more connected community.

The Village is for young families who need safe housing and support to rebuild their lives. Some face homelessness due to factors entirely beyond their control, such as family breakdown, financial hardship, or a lack of a support network. Many have experienced domestic violence, sexual abuse, or unstable home environments. We provide those who need a place to belong, heal, and grow. By providing a safe and nurturing community, The Village helps them regain stability, develop life skills, and move forward with confidence and a sense of connection and belonging.

 

We are partnering with local businesses, donors and volunteers to deliver meaningful change.

Through fundraising, advocacy, and collaboration, we will provide:

    • Secure, energy-efficient housing for families in crisis.
    • Personalised support programs focusing on well-being, education, and financial stability.
    • A community-driven approach that ensures sustainable, long-term impact.
