Home
Written by Jaclyn Jenkins & Illustrated by Kim Dingwall.
Home is not just a building; it is connection, support, and shared hope.
This children’s picture book follows the story of Ted and his family’s search for home.
Beautifully illustrated, Home addresses issues of homelessness with insight and sensitivity while instilling important lessons in belonging, empathy, and the importance of home.
To help you understand Ted’s story even more, we’ve included questions to discuss and explore further.
Ted Toy
We are excited to bring Ted to life. Ted is custom-made in partnership with Kenana Knitters in Kenya, founded on the premise of ‘changing lives stitch by stitch’.
Lovingly hand-made using African-grown organic cotton, dyed with non-toxic dyes, and carefully created by the Kenana Knitters, each little Ted comes with their own card telling the Kenana Knitter story and giving the name of the knitters.
