Working Bee: The Big One – 25 July 2026

As you know, we are the only housing and support service for young people on the Mornington Peninsula. We are also responsible for the upkeep of our own property. Unlike many fully funded services, we rely on community working bees like this one to keep our housing safe and well-maintained for the young people in our care.

We’re working through quite a list this time around, from basic maintenance to some more skilled jobs. So, there’s something for everyone:

• Sanding and resealing wooden flooring

• Removing metal for recycling

• Removing old garden trellis and installing new screening

• Relaying lifted lino (hospitality grade) at the door frame

• Painting

• Planting

• Shed demolition

And Yes, there is a BBQ lunch!!
